The Art.Act.Disrupt project team proudly announces the successful implementation of its final event ‘ARCTIVATE – A CLOSING ARCT’ . The event took place at the Gardens of the Future in Nicosia on 20/03/2024, and brought together representatives from Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and the artistic community. The event stands as a testament to the transformative power of art and activism in fostering social change. ARCTIVATE was conceived as a platform to showcase the remarkable outcomes of the project, uniting creative forces for a common cause.
Through the dynamic partnership of the youth organization YEU Cyprus and Alternative Brains Rule, ART.ACT.DISRUPT is a pioneering initiative at the forefront of leveraging art as a catalyst for social change. The project has witnessed firsthand the potential unlocked through collaborative efforts and community engagement, challenging norms, provoking thought, and inspiring action.

Beyond the festivities, ARCTIVATE represented more than just a gathering; it embodied an ethos of learning, sharing, and collective growth. Guests were encouraged to seize the opportunity to network, share good practices and establish future collaborative initiatives. Attendees of ARCTIVATE joined an evening filled with vibrant live performances by Nama Dama and T.E.A.M Hip Hop Collective, captivating the audiences with their compelling acts.
Present were also the artists LaMarina, PASHIAS, Twenty Three and the collective ‘Under the tents it’s still raining’ who implemented public interventions in Cyprus using art to shed light to cross cutting issues, activating the communities in Cyprus.
