About the Training Course:
The Training Course is a follow-up to a training course completed in 2022. The BITYW 2 aims to create a special programme in which youth workers include refugees in their work with youth. The aim is to improve youth work, integrate refugees, promote positive public opinion, and explore the role of youth work in promoting social integration and cultural exchange.
Objectives:
- Awareness: To learn more about the refugee situation in Europe and share good practices.
- EU Opportunities: To explore the possibilities of the Erasmus+ program as a tool for inclusion of refugees in youth work and to promote non-formal education methodologies
- Up Skill Youth Workers: Improve the local youth work by involving refugees with their skills and experience in local activities and help with their integration.
- Stimulate participants to act as global education multipliers on refugee inclusion.
**We are looking for 3 participants that live in Cyprus over the age of 18.
Acommodation, living and other project related expenses are covered by the Erasmus+ project. The travel expenses are compensated based on the distance from your location.
